ABOUT THE POSITION

As a junior chemist, you will strengthen our client's team in the development, analysis, and manufacturing of pharmaceuticals. You will be an important part of a group of 13 people, including chemists and microbiologists, and support the analytical chemists in their daily work.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Job Responsibilities

In this role, you will assist analytical chemists with various tasks in a laboratory environment, from sample handling to chemical analyses.

  • Work with sample labeling
  • Manage reference stocks
  • Perform simpler chemical analyses
  • Assist with advanced analyses based on your background

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

  • Has excellent Swedish and good English skills, both spoken and written.
  • Has a college/university education with a chemical focus, e.g., Biotechnology, Life Science, or similar technical education

It is a merit if you have:

  • Connections to Umeå

Before employment, you will undergo an alcohol/drug test and you must also submit a criminal record extract.
